South Point Rocks
Situated on the very southern tip of Mahe is a formation of blocks coming to the surface. Not much coral growth on the blocks itself but an impressive amount of fish. Unusual big groups of snappers, fusiliers and jack fish. Furthermore you can spot napoleon fishes, eagle rays, barracudas, white tip reef sharks and stingrays. In November / December good chance to see whale sharks. Maximum depth: 30+ mt (100+ ft.)
Particularities: Due to its position at the very south currents can get quite strong what brings lots of fish on the other hand.
